In a commendable stride toward sustainability, a scout hut in Bristol has recently been equipped with a second state-of-the-art solar panel and battery storage system on their new building. The Fox battery storage system allows for excess energy generated during the day to be stored and used during the night or on days with less sunlight, ensuring a consistent and reliable energy supply. Surplus electricity will be sold back to the grid, providing funds for other important scouting activities and community projects.
