Romag Solar Panels with Fronius Inverter

This system is very similar to that of the Westbury-on-Trym Practice, being a 10kW system composed of Romag panels and a Fronius IGPLUS 120 inverter.

The building is used for various community activities throughout the week, all of which will now benefit from the renewable energy supply.

We worked very closely with the council during the planning of this installation, as the building is in a conservation area. To minimise the visual impact, we used black framed panels and black mounting rails- which look fantastic on the slate roof.

The system is being monitored remotely through a data logger and computer.

This system won the Annual Green Star Award in 2011 (awarded by Redland and Cotham Amenities Society).

08.12.2015 update…

The Meeting House has been delighted with the performance of the panels, especially as they have out-performed our original estimates. We predicted annual feed in tariff income of £3,176 – they have actually received annual income of £4,032! And still going strong….
