About us

We are a Bristol based renewable energy company, specialising in solar photovoltaic systems.

We also install smart switches,  battery storage solutions– and we provide repairs, maintenance and service for existing solar PV systems.

ECOCETERA’S ACCREDITATIONS

The solar panels we install are selected with performance, quality of build and ethical standards of the manufacturing company in mind. We have been operating for twenty-four years, and were one of the very first renewable energy companies to achieve MCS accreditation in 2009. We are proud to put our name to the systems we install, and so do not use products that we consider inferior. We also try hard not to use products from companies with dubious environmental, ethical, or human rights records.

Our staff are fully trained, and the fact that we are approved contractors with NICEIC means that we can sign off all the work we do with Building Control.  We have gained a reputation for high quality workmanship and attention to detail – you can read what our customers think of us here.

Reducing the world’s dependence on fossil fuels and nuclear power is something we feel very strongly about. Solutions such as harnessing the power of the sun make perfect environmental – and financial – sense, for homes, businesses and community buildings alike.

With electricity, gas and oil prices rising ever sky-wards, and the threat of extreme weather events becoming a reality, there has never been a better time to achieve energy security of the most basic kind – making it yourself!

We aim to simplify the whole process of having a system installed – it really is easier than you might think. We will hold your hand from initial survey to registering your system with the appropriate authorities.

Conrad Meyer (seen here) is one of the directors, seen here commissioning a Tesla Powerpack system at Waterlilies in Bristol. He may not be a glamour model, but he knows all there is to know about renewable energy – and is a perfectionist on site!
